1U Rack Blank for 10" Network Enclosures for Clean and Easy Cable Management

Cables in, clutter out: 10" 1U cable management blank with snap-in slots for patch cables (RJ45 connectors can be passed through from both sides).

Perfect for: 10" homelab racks, switch stacks, Raspberry Pi / mini-PC levels, separated LAN segments.

 

 

When setting up my second 10" LabRax Racks 10U from mklements with multiple switches, Raspberry Pis, and mini-PCs, I needed clean cable routing between the levels – without the patch cables running across the front.

After a few prototypes, this solution was created:

 

What does the blank do

  • RJ45 connectors can be passed through from both sides (pull patch cables directly through)
  • Cables can be moved in the horizontal slot (routing remains flexible)
  • Snap-in / locking tabs for a secure fit (up to 2 cables per slot)
  • For standard patch cables: ~5 mm ideal, 6 mm also works
  • 32 cables per side possible (theoretically 64 per blank… who has that much LAN 😂)
  • Reinforcements on the back for more stability
  • No additional accessories needed (no clips, no cable tie frenzy)

 

Note

Please observe the bending radius of the LAN cables before snapping them in – patch cables do not like aggressive handling 😁
