BOLD — Where Function Meets Elegance - Welcome!
"Cylinder" Bit Organizer for Screwdrivers (Optimized Model!)
Say goodbye to bit clutter!
Introducing the "Cylinder Bit Holder", a screwdriver bit organizer fully optimized for 3D printing and designed for those seeking organization without sacrificing style.
Why print this model?
- Ergonomic Design with Exclusive Texture: Inspired by drum-type loading, the cylindrical body not only offers a robust and modern look but also ensures a superior grip (geometric body), making handling safer and more comfortable, even with dirty hands.
- Quick Access and Ideal Capacity: The compact design stores your most used bits vertically and securely, ensuring you find the right piece instantly, without rummaging through drawers.
- Parametric: configure the length and number of bits yourself
- Optimized and Hassle-Free Printing:
- No Supports: The model is 100% designed to be printed without the need for supports (in the standard orientation, with the base down), saving time and material (the only support needed is already included in the model).
- Stability: The base and top are flat for maximum adhesion and stability during printing.
- Recommended Filament: PLA or PETG for durability and vibrant colors.
Model Details:
This organizer transforms bit chaos into order, keeping your workspace clean and professional. The model is versatile and fits perfectly on most workbenches and toolboxes.
The model consists of 5 components:
1-Top cap with a recess for bit removal;
2-Bottom cap, with a niche for the spring;
3-Spring;
4-Bit cylinder;
5-Assembly shaft.
Instructions for the parametric model:
Open the file in Bambu Studio, split the model into objects, select all objects, and click the auto-orientation option (adjust if necessary. The cylinder should be with the support facing down on the build plate.
For the shaft, I recommend increasing the walls to 4.
Assembly Instructions:
Remove the supports from the top of the drum.
The parts are easy to identify, and the assembly should be put together as shown in the photos.
However, special attention is required in some steps.
For spring assembly:
1-Insert the spring into the recess of the bottom cap, with the wavy tooth facing up.
To assemble the bottom cap to the shaft, observe the two steps below:
1-Align the opening of the top cap with the face of the cylinder where there are no bits;
2-Align the bottom cap with the cylinder (see the recessed line mark on the inner face of both pieces.
