Description

This model is a miniature replica of the Thermo Fisher Metrios 6S TEM microscope, designed for display, education, or as a fun scientific desk ornament. The print captures the characteristic shape of the Metrios system, including its distinctive column and body layout. One of the included images shows a fully assembled render, and another provides a clear exploded/assembly view to help you put everything together with ease.

 

The parts are optimized for FDM printing, All components are small, cleanly separated, and easy to print without excessive supports. It’s a great project for microscopy enthusiasts, students, lab techs, or anyone who wants a high-tech scientific instrument in miniature form.

 

Print instructions

All plates can be printed with a 0.4 mm nozzle. But for the best result plates 02 and 04 should be printed with a 0.2 mm nozzle.

 

Assembly

In the assemble view you can find an example of how the model needs to be put together. There is also an breakdown view attached to this model. The model can best be glued together with superglue.
