Description
Looking for the ultimate accessory to give your dark warrior outfit the finishing touch? This Bone Lord Pauldron (Spaulder) is the perfect statement piece!
This design combines the terrifying aesthetic of a realistic skull with the robust form of plate-shaped leather protection. It is ideal for characters like undead, necromancers, skeleton warriors, or any dark fantasy character.
The model consists of:
- A detailed skull attachment.
- Several leather-look plates with simulated rivets.
Print Details & Assembly
- Print Bed Size: This model is divided in such a way that it can be printed on common print beds (e.g., 200x200 mm or larger).
- Recommended Material: PLA, PETG, or robust ABS/ASA for durability.
- Tip for the skull: Use light or beige filament.
- Tip for the plates: Dark brown or black filament.
- Layer Height: 0.15 mm to 0.2 mm for a good balance between detail and print time.
- Infill: 15% - 20% (Cubic or Gyroid).
- Supports: Recommended for the skull attachment and the underside of the plates. Use supports that are easy to remove.
Post-processing: The skull greatly benefits from painting to make it look antique and bony (e.g., with drybrushing techniques). The leather plates can be sealed with gloss or matte varnishes to enhance the rivet and leather effect.
The individual plates can then be connected with real rivets, small screws, or adhesive to achieve the desired flexibility and layered look.
