Assembly:

  • The plates are plugged into each other
  • The electronics are entirely on the last plate, note that you first insert the switch and connector before soldering the electronics
  • The electronics are soldered to the charging board
  • The plug connections are a bit stiff at first and require some force
  • You can also use the lamp without a battery and only with a cable, for this you can attach the USB port directly to the LED with the connectors (no soldering necessary)
  • The circuit looks like this:

The LEDs are connected as follows:

And here again the electronics:

If any questions arise during assembly, let me know, and I will answer them as quickly as possible.

This multi-layered 3D light motif is inspired by Stranger Things and depicts a dynamic scene with multiple layers.

In the foreground are the main characters, in the middle the portal opens, and in the background Vecna rises as a menacing silhouette. The three layers create an impressive depth effect, which is particularly enhanced by a string of lights or LED lighting.

Ideal as a decorative object, for fans of the series, or as an extraordinary gift for any occasion.

Construction

  1. Glue the string of lights with hot glue to the plate with the logo, I distributed about 10 LEDs evenly over the logo and positioned them so that they have a little distance from the plate, so that the light spreads better.
  2. Assemble three of the four rails and slide in the portal as well as Vecna.
  3. Guide the string of lights through the small hole at the bottom of the plates, then attach the last rail.
  4. The package with the plates is now pushed into the frame, make sure that Vecna is at the last position.
  5. The remaining string of lights can now be glued to the Vecna plate. I achieved the best effect by gluing the LEDs behind Vecna's strands.
  6. Guide the battery compartment of the string of lights through the hole in the back plate. The red side of the plate should face inwards so that the light spreads better and Vecna is more clearly visible.
  7. Now the back plate can also be glued into the frame with 4 dots of hot glue to close the lamp.
  8. Finally, I glued the battery compartment to the back to get a clean finish

Have fun recreating it! I would be happy to see pictures of your results :)
