Hello creatives! 👋

 I'm so excited to share my new design with you - an Old wooden chest 🚀

The wooden chest is designed as a kit. Everything fits together.

 

 The model is designed in such a way that AMS is not needed.

 

For a stronger connection, use superglue - I recommend using it especially for gluing the upper hinges. The joints of the lower part of the chest are very strong - after printing it is better to clean the joints with a scalpel or lightly sand them.

 I hope you like this model. For me, it is the best made wooden chest I have ever seen 🤩.

Printet @ 225% no support under the lid (should have added) Love this print. the spring broke but added a metal spring.

I had to simulate the enlargement. It's really huge. Very nice combination of colors. Thank you for the photo.

it is printet in Sunlu Matt Brown pla and Sunlu Silky Silver pla the picture don’t give the colors justice…. it is amazing and looks even better in real life… it is huge and get filled with at statue of a coworker and goldbars and coins. again thx for an amazing opportunity til print this

Did you have to sand down the connecting pieces? I’m printing at 150% and so far the back and front do not fit with the bottom. I’m nervous to continue printing

I had to clean up the joints a little with a file. It might be the filament, I have pets.

This is the coolest print of my first 30-50 prints on my Bambu. It looks so great! My daughter loves it and keeps her treasures inside. I scaled the print (I forgot the factor). Everything fits REALLY well! Only 2 little ideas for optimization: The lid opens a bit too far. That leads the box to fall behind. I corrected that by some glue on the back of the lower bearing part. And the most upper wood on the fixed part is missing the nice structure. So it looks a bit like a stranger. (and it's a bit too long). But anyway GREAT!
