Description

 

Version 2 has been released. While maintaining the same size, it adds externally powered LED lighting.

Improvements to the first version:

- Removed the bottom connecting block and replaced it with a direct connection to the base.

- Added recessed structures on both sides for easier placement and removal of the bracket.

- Added internal wiring to the middle frame for connecting additional LEDs.

- Added LED screw holes and LED lamp holders.

What is its function? Even though this lift bracket is very thin, in extreme scenarios where both hot ends use high-hardness materials such as carbon fiber composites, the PTFE tubing can maintain a 1-1.5 cm gap with the glass top cover, completely solving the problem of PTFE tubing rubbing against the top cover glass. At the same time, the double fixation of riveting and screws ensures the integrated torsional strength of the bracket.In terms of appearance, I avoided using unnecessary cosmetic modifications to minimize disruption to the overall integrity of the original design. That was my goal.

(The TPU part of this model can actually also be made with PETG, depending on your choice.)

 

 

If you also prefer modification parts to maintain a low profile, this is a reliable choice.😄

Note that you should use countersunk self-tapping screws, not pointed ones. The screw ends must be flat-headed. If you're unsure what they look like, scroll to the bottom of the image list. I've included a list of images.
M3X12 countersunk self-tapping screws (24 pieces) - Standard round-head screws can also be used, as long as the head thickness does not exceed 2mm.
7X4MM cylindrical magnet (1 piece)

PETG/PETG-CF/TPU(Avoid printing it with high-shrinkage materials, such as ABS.

Please use PETG-CF printing for the top frame assembly; avoid using ABS. Due to the difference in shrinkage rates, using ABS will likely result in improper installation of the glass cover. Double securing with screws and tight riveting. The sensing function is retained. The frame closely matches the machine's overall shape. The glass is flush with the frame assembly; the slightly raised rear end of the frame facilitates alignment of the glass cover during installation.

Regarding the M3x12 screw, it can be any type shown in the image. If a round-head screw is selected, the length only needs to be 10mm, and the screw head thickness should preferably not exceed 2mm. If a countersunk screw is used, the screw head thickness can be ignored.
