Antenna bracket for top rail masts

This mounts on a top rail mast and supports a smaller magnetic antenna which typically is used on vehicles (Amazon link below).  I made this to mount my scanner antenna on a pre-existing top rail mast that I use for my VHF / UHF radio.  The mount can be secured to the mast by using zip ties or anything that will fit through the holes (8mm in diameter).  The hole for the antenna to be placed in is 48mm in diameter, and the cut out for the mast is big enough for a diameter of 35mm (1 3/8").

Upon glueing the base of the antenna into the mount I covered the base up with silicone to seal it from the elements leaving only the antenna connector exposed.
