Description

This 3D-printed frame is designed to securely hold the gear shift boot in place between the dashboard-mounted frame and the boot itself.

Tailored for the Ford Focus MK2 model from 2006, this model was created as a free alternative to the paid versions available online.

The design process involved capturing a reference photo (that you will find attached), converting it into an SVG with ShapeScan (results also attached), and refining it using Fusion 360.

The inner frame features small clips designed to hold the boot in place. While these clips are not overly large, the pressure from the leather boot itself ensures a secure fit. Additionally, small holes have been incorporated to allow the use of 24/6 staples, making it easy to secure the leather boot firmly in place.
