Description
Update a 4.2mm Version with failsafe clips and a tighter fit.
An updated, tighter 4.2mm version with failsafe clips has been created.
Designed for Kexcelled Cardboard Spool ( around 199mm).
Should also apply for eSun Cardboard (will update after testing)
Outer diameter is 201mm, smaller than most of the adapters available here.
No need for an AMS Riser, but you can place those spools in slot 2 or 3 for better tolerance.
Two versions utilize different methods of securing the spool, both tested and working well.
You may try the 4mm version if you encounter excessive friction issues (especially on the left side)
Designed for Kexcelled Cardboard Spools ( approximately 199mm), it may also be compatible with eSun Cardboard Spools (updates will be provided after testing).
The outer diameter is 201mm, smaller than most adapters found on this platform, and should not cause friction issues with the AMS lid.
As a precaution, you can place the spool with the adapter in slot 2 or 3, as these slots generally provide slightly more clearance.
The two versions employ distinct methods for securing the spool, both have been tested and are functioning well.
If you experience friction with the AMS bottom limit switch (particularly on the left side), consider trying the 4mm version.
