Description

Yakovlev Yak-42D “Clobber” jet airliner in 1:200 and 1:400 scale.  Please pick the appropriate profile for desired scale.

From Wiki:

"The Yakovlev Yak-42 (Russian: Яковлев Як-42; NATO reporting name: "Clobber") is a 100-120-seat three-engined mid-range passenger jet developed in the mid 1970s to replace the obsolete Tupolev Tu-134. It was the first airliner produced in the Soviet Union to be powered by modern high-bypass turbofan engines."

The Yak-42D is the long range version which replaced the original Yak-42.

This is a remix of a great 3d model from cgtrader by 2001kraft.  Sized to 1:200 and 1:400 scales, landing gear deleted, parameters optimized for printing at scale, seams adjusted for cosmetics, and positioned with supports for succesful printing.  Supports will be necessary.  I did originally also slice a version with no supports, but it's small enough that a 1 piece print doesn't waste too much filament on supports.

Printed in Bambu PLA Basic white, painted with acrylic markers by my in-house 11yo aviation enthusiast.
