If you’ve ever used the MasterLock 5423D, you already know its biggest flaw:
The moment you drop the keys in, they immediately fall to the bottom of the lockbox… where they perfectly block the lid from closing.
This is the fix.
What this insert does:
This simple insert sits inside the lockbox and creates a pocket that keeps your keys in place. No more fumbling, no more juggling, no more “Why won’t this thing close?!?”.
It’s an extremely basic print, prints in 20mins with no supports, but the usability improvement is massive. The lock suddenly works the way it should have from the factory.
Stick it to the back wall of the lockbox with a piece of VHB tape
