Description

This is a minimalist holder for the Olight i1R 2 pro key-chain flashlight series.

I really wanted to carry my flex companion and a flashlight, but it was too much for my pocket. I had the idea to use the bit holder on the flex companion to hold the flashlight. It works great for me and I hope it can be useful to others!

The model pictures should do a pretty good job showing off the orientation and such, it sits flush with the flex companion when in the pocket and can be turned on and pointed right at whatever needs to be illuminated without any “fiddling”. Something I really like is you can press the back in on the olight, and since there is a ridge on the front of the holder to hold the flashlight in, you can use it as a momentary switch (as long as the light is screwed together enough to not be on, but very close), which isn't an advertised ability with this light, but I found it to be super useful in my everyday carry!  This holder also allows the flex companion to hold the light for you, which I found to be very handy instead of having a round light that rolls all over the place. The fit on the flashlight is pretty snug but the flashlight can slide in and out relatively easily as its not “locked” in, but its gripped well. The fit over the bit is snug enough to stay on, but easily comes off as I want the bit to be easily accessible and I wanted to be able to use the flashlight independently. This holder is also light enough that the back magnetic cover still works too!

I also have one for the Royvon A3!
