Description
I designed this single-port RJ45 junction box to solve a simple problem: clean, professional-looking network termination points without the bulk of commercial solutions.
Features:
- Two-part slide-in-fit design - no screws needed for assembly
- Fits standard keystone jacks (tested with Ubiquiti but compatible with most brands)
- Four mounting holes for screw installation, or use double-sided tape for non-permanent mounting
- Industrial, minimalist aesthetic that blends into any environment
- Snug fit keeps everything secure and rattle-free
Why I made this: After installing Ubiquiti networking equipment throughout my home, I needed clean junction points for structured cabling. Commercial options were either too bulky, too expensive, or didn't fit the aesthetic I wanted. This design gives you a professional result with a home printer.
Assembly:
- Mount to wall using screws (4 holes provided) or double-sided tape
- Insert your keystone jack into the faceplate from the rear
- Route your cables through the holes in top body
- Slide the top body into the faceplate - it's a friction fit
Print Settings I Used:
- Layer height: 0.2mm
- Infill: 100%
- Supports: required
- Material: PLA
