“Mere evil spirits dare to speak presumptuously...

I am Ye Shunguang, Sword Master of the Azure Mire Sword of Yun Kui Mountain—with this sword drawn, heaven and earth shall guide me to purge all evil!”

——Ye Shunguang from Zenless Zone Zero

In versions 2.3&2.4 of Zenless Zone Zero, Ye Shunguang, the junior sister of Yun Kui Mountain, who became the Azure Mire Sword Master at a young age and is rumored to possess Void Hunt-level strength, finally made her official appearance in the story, embarking on an adventure with the Proxies. (Ye Shunguang's subsequent storyline and character draw are pending for version 2.5. Currently, only her appearance has been revealed.)

Speaking of this junior sister, as early as version 2.3, before Grand World Ju Fufu left, she had already briefly described her appearance, characterized by a large tail, brown hair, and a red ribbon headdress...

Here, based on the story animation and promotional images, an attempt was made to design and create Ye Shunguang's ribbon bow headdress.

I've designed this headdress as a headband style, which can later be modified into a hair clip.

A distinct feature of this designed headdress is its large and long size! After all, this hair accessory is also very large and prominent in the game.

While maintaining the shape, a ribbon bow effect was created using PLA with minimal thickness. Although it cannot perfectly replicate the soft and flowing texture of fabric, it is not rigid or stiff.

Excluding some very minor details, this headdress is largely faithful to the game.

(P.S.: The ribbon bow part should have been red, but I didn't have any on hand, so I used pink instead~)

This headdress is printed in separate colors and parts, then assembled, with almost no supports used throughout. To keep it light and flexible, many printed parts are thin, and many wall thicknesses only use 1 wall. Care is needed when handling (though it's not that fragile...).

Each printed part has connectors and sockets for direct connection (see assembly guide, if needed...). However, it is still recommended to secure them with super glue.

Although it may seem like there are many small printed parts, there aren't that many, and assembly is very easy.

The headband is designed to be worn at the back. The connection between the headband's main socket and the T-shaped structure used to attach the headdress doesn't need to be reinforced with glue; as long as there isn't overly strenuous movement, it generally won't fall off.

The reason for not reinforcing it is that it allows the headdress and headband parts to be separated for storage and reassembled when needed, saving space.

Zenless Zone Zero currently has a fair amount of controversy, and I myself have some dissatisfaction with it. However, the art style is quite excellent, offering almost all the elements you could want~

Junior Sister Ye Shunguang, though she contributed greatly in this version, her main stage should be the next one. I'm looking forward to it!
