3DBenchy Mobile Art (kinetic sculpture)

Would you like to beautifully display 3DBenchy as an interior decoration

With this kit, you can easily create a mobile (moving sculpture)
If you push it gently by hand, it will continue to sway for a while

Finished dimensions: 33cm width, 35cm height

Tested with PLA and PETG for the A1 mini. PETG is more elastic and sways longer.
Print time is about 11 minutes, and filament usage is about 6g. (PLA Basic, excluding preparation)
 

How to Assemble:

• Separately, please prepare 4 3DBenchys in your preferred colors
• Assemble each part as shown in the photos
  • Insert the joints of the lower elements (5,6) into the chimney hole of the 3DBenchy. It is designed to snap fit, but if it is loose, please glue it.
  • Hook the elements with hooks (3-6) into the holes of the crossbars (1,2) and hang the entire assembly. Elements 5 and 6 can be swapped.
• If the upper length is insufficient when hanging from the ceiling, extend it with thread or filament and install it.
  (For about 30cm, you can print additional part 3 and use it for extension.)

Precautions:

• There are small parts. Please be careful to prevent children from swallowing them accidentally.
• Designed for indoor use with minimal wind. If strongly swayed all day outdoors or near air conditioners, parts may deteriorate quickly.
• Since the parts are thin, please be careful of deformation in hot places.

Printing Quality Tips:

• Due to the nature of FDM 3D Printer, printing thin parts may fail. If printing does not adhere, try cleaning the plate or using glue.
