Ultimate PTFE Connector with Compression Fitting
Do your PTFE tubes have play or come loose unintentionally? This self-printed PTFE Connector (Coupler) permanently solves the problem with a double-sided compression fitting.
Unlike simple push-fit connectors, this design uses conical compression rings (olives) that firmly grip the tube when screwed on, without obstructing flow. Perfectly suited for Bowden setups, AMS systems, or as an extension for standard 4mm PTFE tubes.
Features:
- 🔒 Extreme Grip: No slipping out of the tube thanks to the clamping mechanism.
- 🔄 Double-sided: Securely connects two tube pieces.
- 📎 Clip included: A separate clip for strain relief or frame mounting is included.
- 🛠 No accessories needed: 100% printed, no metal nuts required.
Print Recommendation:
- Material: PETG or PLA/ PLA+ (for better thread stability).
- Layer height: 0.2mm (important for clean threads!).
- Walls: 2-3 wall lines for stability.
- Infill: 12% for the compression rings (olives), 12% for the rest.
Assembly:
- Thread the cap nut onto the tube.
- Place the compression ring (taper towards the thread) onto the tube.
- Screw into the main body – finger-tight is enough!
