Description
A heating and drying module enclosure powered by 220V voltage, using two 6025 220V fans and one 120X50 self-controlled temperature PTC heater. Wiring channels are reserved. Strong airflow and high efficiency.
To save material, no air inlet space was left at the bottom. When placed flat, it needs to be elevated or used with the author's designed module stand.
The selected PTC heater comes with temperature control for a PTC temperature of 105 degrees Celsius. The measured open-air outlet temperature is around 65 degrees Celsius. The measured heating temperature in a closed space can reach above 75 degrees Celsius. Therefore, to prevent softening of the front panel, aluminum alloy exhaust is used to enhance service life.
Measurements show that the chamber temperature can be maintained above 60 degrees Celsius when placed in an enclosure.
The temperature control switch is XH-W3002. Measurements show that the waterproof head sensor can also be used to detect ambient temperature with minimal error.
One side of the enclosure has a reserved card slot, and the other side has two reserved self-tapping screw holes (only one is needed) for fixing the PTC heater. The bottom fan uses a card slot buckle. If printing deviation causes looseness, it is recommended to use glue for fixing.
The top 80x150 aluminum alloy cover plate is semi-slotted. One side can be fixed with tape/glue.
When printing with PETG, it is recommended to use high-temperature resistant tape for thermal isolation to increase service life.
Installation instructions are in the attachment.
