The Bosch GTS635-216 produces extreme dust in its factory state. Some of the dust escapes from the top and is thrown towards the operator. The included protective hood has no extraction function, and the extraction hood of the GTS10XC can only be mounted by modifying theriving knife (this has an extraction point at the back, but it doesn't do much).

You can either print the dust extraction hood completely or create the side plate from a transparent plastic sheet. This, as well as the dust extraction nozzle, is still missing in my picture.

The dust extraction nozzle is not permanently integrated into the model, so you can use your own adapter if needed.

Assembly should be self-explanatory based on the pictures. The following screws are needed:

  • 1x DIN7991 M4x40 countersunk screw
  • 1x DIN933 M4x30 hex head screw
  • 2x DIN985 M4 lock nut
  • 8x DIN7991 M4x10 or 4mm wood screws
  • 1x DIN912 M3x16 cylinder head screw
