Description
Box for V16 Beacon (ISSE SAFETY) + 3 AA Batteries
Like it or not, V16 beacons will be mandatory in Spain from 2026, and warning triangles will become a thing of the past (for now…?).
But there's a problem no one talks about: if you leave the batteries in the glove compartment for years, they will corrode, and when you have a real emergency, the device will be useless. How many of us will remember to check the batteries every year?
I have designed this solution to store the beacon and batteries together, but electrically separated. This ensures that, in an emergency, the equipment works right away. You just need to take the batteries out of their slots, insert them, and it's ready.
Compatibility and Measurements: This design is specifically modeled for the ISSE SAFETY brand beacon. I bought it on Amazon.
- Beacon diameter: 87 mm
- Beacon height: 55 mm
- Power: Specific slots for 3 AA batteries.
Design advantages:
- 🛑 Goodbye to corrosion: By keeping the batteries out of the circuit, you prevent contact corrosion.
- ⚡ All-in-one: Don't waste time searching for batteries in the car; they come in the same case as the light.
- 🔧 Ideal for workshops: Perfect for keeping your emergency kit organized and ready to use.
- 🚗 Resistant: Protects the beacon from impacts inside the trunk or glove compartment.
Recommended printing parameters:
- Material: ABS or ASA Recommended. PETG depends on summer temperatures. PLA is not recommended at all.
- Supports: Not necessary.
- Infill: 10% is sufficient.
Get ready for the 2026 regulation and, above all, ensure your safety with equipment that works when it's truly needed.
