E26 E27 Pendant Light Retainer Ring (40mm - 2.6mm)

  I created this because I was building some 3D printed lamps and when I ordered my Pendant Light Cord Kit from amazon it only came with one of these rings per cord. The Lamps I was building needed two of these rings per cord. In order to finish one of the lamps I used both rings on a single cord. That is when I realized that the small indents on the side of the included rings did not offer much in terms of grip as I reached inside the base of the 3D printed lamp and attempted to tighten the rings. I download 3 retainer ring models from Maker World. Unfortunately none of them had the correct thread spacing and would not work.  I decided to just design my own that will have better grip and cost a lot less to make than to buy. I ended up using only the ones I designed and the supplied retainer rings now reside in the bottom of a desk drawer.

 It seems that there are a lot of pendant lights available and many different thread pitches that are used. These will fit any pendant lights measuring a 40mm diameter with a thread spacing of 2.6mm.

They simply thread on the same as the original that comes with the Pendant Light Cord Kit.
