🌿 Rootcave Planters

The Rootcave Planter is a decorative yet functional root structure that can be used in both terrariums and aquariums. It is designed to look like an intricate, gnarled root system, consisting of several strong, organically shaped root arms. The surface shows fine, structured grains and appears lifelike, like aged wood.

🕳️ Interior – Hiding Spot for Animals

Inside is a spacious cave that can be used by various animals, e.g.:
• Reptiles
• Amphibians
• Invertebrates (crabs, shrimp, snails)
• Small fish

The entrances are round and offer good hiding places without appearing intrusive.

🌱 Top – Planting Hollows / Moss Chambers

The top features several hollowed-out containers that look like natural depressions in old root wood. These are perfect for:
• Moss
• Epiphytic plants
• Small terrarium plants
• Semi-aquatic plants
• Aerial roots or seedlings

The design is kept so natural that the greenery will later visually merge with the root.

💧 Two Versions Available

There are:

🔹 Version with Drainage Holes
Ideal for:
• humid to wet terrarium
• Paludarium
• Plantings that need to avoid waterlogging

The holes ensure that excess water can drain away.

🔹 Version without Holes
Ideal for:
• Aquariums
• Moss cultures that should remain permanently moist
• Irrigation systems where water is deliberately retained

Here, water remains in the hollows longer.
