Tyre Inner Support Tamiya 1:14

It was necessary to provide some internal support for the tyres of my Tamiya 6x4 tipper truck. The truck performs well but when fully loaded, the tyres were being driven off the front steering wheels. Some additional internal support was required. I designed these inners using TPU to prevent the tyres from moving across or off the rim.
It is designed for standard front steering wheels on Tamiya 1:14 trucks, but would fit any rims of that size.
In order to fit the inners inside the tyres on the rims, it proved useful to put a single cut across the inner and then "screw" the inner into the tyre on the rim, see the pictures. This worked well and has been completely successful, enabling the truck to be driven and steered fully loaded without the tyre moving off the rims, no problem.

Printed  using TPU filament, no special requirements, other than follow the guide for the filament used. No supports used.
