Description

This is a fake power bank that hides a 50ml bottle so that you can take a drink of your choice into venues that prefer you to buy their own.

What you need:

  • I have designed this to fit the most common (in the UK at least) 50ml bottles that can be bought online - a 50ml glass “flask shaped” bottle.  This measures approx 103 x 55 x 25mm including lid.
  • You will also need either 2 x USB-A or 2 x USB-C female sockets which can be bought inexpensively from places like AliExpress.

To assemble:

  • Choose whether to print the USB-A (plate 1) or USB-C (plate 2) version.
  • Print on a smooth plate.
  • Remove the wires and the little plastic braces from the sides of the USB sockets and slot them into the holes in the base of the “power bank”.
  • Tidy any bits of filament from the sliding base and where it fits into.  Slide the base into the main part of the power bank (the three cut out parts that form a grip go first).  Go gently the first few times as it will be stiff until you have slid it back and forth a few times.
