Description

Project Description

These are replacement sliders for the Bosch GTS 10 J table saw fence, along with bearing spacers for an additional rear support wheel. The design improves fence stability and smoothness, making adjustments easier and more precise.

This model is inspired by SaurOn’s original design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3813720) for a different table saw fence, but adapted specifically for the Bosch GTS 10 J.

🛠 Printing & Assembly
Sliders: Print one of each slider piece.

Rear Wheel Addition:
Drill a M6 hole in the fence’s plastic body.
Raise the bearing slightly above the plastic surface (I used the thickness of 4 playing cards as a spacer).
Pin: A push-fit pin is included in the design, as there wasn’t enough clearance for a standard M6 nut and bolt to attach the bearing.
The spacer block is to allow additional room for the bearing when the fence is locked down.

Wedge Spacer (to allow extra room for the bearing), replacement M3 10mm screws

⚙️ Hardware Requirements
Bearings: 687-2RS Deep Groove Ball Bearings (Z2, 7mm × 14mm × 5mm, double sealed).
Replacement M3 10mm screws to allow for the wedge spacer.

🖨 Print Notes
Tested on a Bambu X1 Carbon — parts fitted perfectly with no sanding required.
Depending on your printer tolerances, minor fettling may be needed.

Notes:
The rear plastic molding should freely come apart from the fence once the top screw and large taper pin have been removed, no need to force or panic if the connecting rod drops out :-) (yes, speaking from experience). I have included a image of the components that are part of the rear locking mechanism for reference.
For info the components order is plastic mold, washer, small spring, washer, locking leaver, lock washer, larger spring, knurled nut.

Cleaned and waxed both rails, allowed for a smoother slide.

This model was designed and measured by myself using the Bosch GTS 10 J and tested It is an independently created accessory, not an original product of Robert Bosch GmbH Use at your own risk.

Hi, The hole for the bearing in the plastic body, is it through the center of the "cross" on the inside? or is it some other meassurement?

no exact measurements, I just used the thickness of four playing cards under the plastic body to raise it slightly higher than the bottom of the bearing and used the end of the drill bit through the bearing hole to make a mark in the plastic.

Great design! If you find or design the front and rear metal profiles (perpendicular to the saw blade), please let me know
