overall, this is a beautiful model! The pieces go together with ease and everything lines up perfectly to create a nice, solid, finished product. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was, I had a recurring problem "silver grip shrouds." I experienced several misprints when attempting these. I adjusted my settings slightly, which helped a little. You really can't see the layer issues once I did this and put the model together (the visible issues are mostly on the non visible side, but it was still a trial and error. Overall, though, I love this model and the others you have created!

what did you change in settings. I have had the same piece fail three times

I had to slow things WAY down and also put in a "sacrificial" cube (you can use whatever you want) so the layers had even more time to cool

You assembled that incorrectly. it is supposed to be one curved line, moving in one direction. the bottom part should be rotated 180 degrees :)

At first both the profiles I tried snapped off repeatedly on the tall thin sections once nearing the top. I made my own print profile with slightly thinner layers 0.16 and optimised for silk for better wall and top surface quality. I added supports to prevent the tall thin section from catching, bending and snapping. Very nice model - I like the way it fits together, very well done.

Yeah one of the thin section parts kept snapping on my H2C on that profile. Had to make my own profile to get it to print properly.

thats crazy ive done like 10 of his sabers all the .12HQ profile and they all.come out flawless. I also use polymaker and geetech filiment so. I avoid them budget brands like sunlu and elegoo those the ones that fail.

This print is awesome! Would you ever consider making one of your blade adapters for this model? If you can give me the thread type maybe I could try it myself?

There is now! print the adapter profile ion this model and then the blade and however many sections you'd like for the length.

The trigger and hilt guard should line up, I think that the lower half should be rotated 180 degrees :)

I made it since I couldn't find it anywhere. I just added the print profile to the ''Display Stand for the Obi-Wan Lightsaber'' or via my profile - model - print profile.

I love thus guys stuff but I do believe he uses a filter for images because I've used almost every metallic on the planet and nothing comes out like that.
