I got a request from a customer for a Nightwing-style wingding and decided to turn it into a quick, clean design that makes full use of Bambu Lab’s textured plates and AMS. The goal was something that prints perfectly flat, assembles easily, and has crisp colour separation without visible seams.

This set includes:

• AMS Multi-Colour Version
• 3-Part “Manual Multi-Colour” Version
• Display Stand with Nightwing-inspired emblem

Printing Details

All pieces feature built-in alignment pins.
The pins are intentionally a tight fit so the edges line up perfectly with no shifting or steps.

▶ AMS Version

Prints face-down for perfect surface finish.
Optimised for textured plates — I used the Carbon Fiber plate for the main body.

▶ 3-Part Version (Non-AMS / Multi-Material by Assembly)

Printed as:

• Center body
• Left blade
• Right blade

For this build:

• Centre section → Forged Carbon plate
• Blue blades → Carbon Fiber plate

Just glue the center pieces together, then add each blade using the tabs.

▶ Display Stand

A simple stand designed to match the theme, featuring a Nightwing-inspired crest on the front.
I brushed a little silver leaf Rub ’n Buff on the emblem for a subtle metal shine.
