AMS & AMS2 Spool Adapter For Sunlu Mini 250g Spools
Trying to use the external spool in conjunction with an AMS is kind of terrible.
This adapter lets you run the 250g spools in your AMS and AMS2, but NOT AMS Lite.
It fixes the problems with more minimalist spools:
- It's designed to the dimensions of the Bambu reusable spools, so it's wide enough to be stable, and the diameter is what Bambu designed their AMS to work perfectly with.
- It has a hollow core that's closed off on both ends, which allows you to stick something in there to add some weight, to stop the spool from bouncing when the AMS pulls on it (which I really, really recommend).
- The halves lock together with a tab and socket type connection rather than a threaded hole, so less chance of it coming apart.
Make sure your mini spools look like the mini spool in my photos, I can't say if it will work with other Sunlu 250g spools.
