Description

There are several sizes of this catapult cup, and the smaller ones fit firmly on the end of a TETRIX prime square beam.

  • The small cup is the perfect size for a golf ball or a ping-pong ball. With just a few rubber bands, we easily launched ping-pong balls over 1-meter tall (3 ft.) obstacles and well over 2-meters (6 ft.) horizontally.
  • The medium cup is for tennis balls or standard 2.8-inch whiffle balls. With 7 rubber bands, we were launching whiffle balls more than 3 meters (10 ft.) horizontally.
  • UPDATE: I added print profiles for the FTC oversized 5-inch whiffle balls, for GoBILDA low-profile C-channel and for TETRIX U-channel

We had to use tweezers to remove the supports from the beam mounting area. We are still trying to optimize the supports.

Note: the small and medium cups fit the 16mm × 16mm TETRIX Prime square beam such as the one in this (link)
