Description

This model is an adaptation and modification of AdWat original work. I Have changed the models slightly as well as adding an additional rocket, the Vostok R7. These rockets were responsible for the Soviet Union's early Space endeavors. I have another similar set for the USA HERE and another for Europe HERE. how far down can this be scaled to?

I’m not sure. I have them at a 1:200 scale right now the Vostok will likely run into print problem is scaled down due to the hot staging ring. I had a lot of trouble getting that to work reliably with this scale. the Sputnik R7 could likely be scaled down pretty well. I’d recommend downloading it and pulling it into bamboo studio (or whatever slicer you prefer) and playing with them in that to see where it starts to breakdown.

Thank you for the boost and comment. If you are talking about the rocket family proposed in the early 2000s that got cancelled then kinda revived in SLS, I’m not planning on making any rockets that have not flown. If you are talking about Jupiter C rocket in the redstone family than I do plan on making the redstone family of rockets after I finish my current project. (I am currently working on the Thor family ie. thor able, Thor delta, Thor ablestar, Thor agena) There are so many rockets I want to model that have actually flown that I want to make that I’m not sure if I’ll ever have the time to make so called paper rockets.
