Heavier is a simple, ridiculous, and surprisingly satisfying project: a 3D printed mold that lets you cast a perfect cement cube around a working Bic lighter. The result is a functional lighter trapped in a solid block… for absolutely no good reason other than it looks awesome and instantly makes people say “wait… why?”
The mold prints clean and mates together seamlessly, giving you sharp edges and a perfect cube. Print your mold, mix your cement, set the lighter in place, pour, demold, and you’ve got the most unnecessary 2 lb lighter you’ve ever owned. It’s a great conversation piece, desk object, or gift for anyone who loves weird maker builds.

List of needed materials:
Cube mold (PLA works great)
Cement All
Painter's tape
Full sized classic Bic lighter
Mold release (Vaseline, Pam cooking spray etc)
Basic Measuring cups
