Due to the deep features and the crown, supports are Required to hold the facial contours and preserve the shape during the flat printing process. Its highly detailed surface provides an exceptional canvas for fine finishing, and it includes an integrated method for hanging.
Material & Craftsmanship
The focus of this model is achieving fidelity in both the soft petals of the crown and the sharp edges of the facial features. Printing flat on the build plate is the required method for this model, maximizing stability, while requiring careful support setup. Printed here on the Bambu A1 using PLA+/Pro filament, the sturdy result provides an outstanding base for intricate, professional-level paint application.
Creative Finishing Suggestions
For finishing ideas, emulate the Vibrant Traditional Look (as pictured) by using highly pigmented acrylics, giving the flowers red and blue tones against a white base. Create a Ceramic Mosaic Effect by outlining all painted areas with thin black lines to simulate traditional Talavera pottery.
