A regal, full 3D sculpt embodying the vibrant artistry and celebratory spirit of Día de los Muertos.

The Monarch Calavera Skull Mask is a spectacular piece of cultural decor. This deep-sculpted model features exquisite detail, including roses woven across the crown, intricate scrollwork over the face, and pronounced cheekbones and eye sockets. It's perfect as a dramatic wall hanging or a centerpiece for ceremonial display.

Design Features

This model is defined by its Full 3D, Deep Sculpt, which provides realistic anatomical curves and a pronounced presence. It features Exquisite Floral Accents and fine scrollwork that reflects high-end Calavera artistry. Due to the complex nature of the full mask lying flat, supports are Required to hold the facial contours and preserve the shape. Its highly detailed surface is ideal for multi-color finishing, and it includes an integrated method for hanging.

Material & Craftsmanship

The focus of this model is achieving fidelity in the deep contours and the delicate sculpting. Printing flat on the build plate is the required method for this specific model, maximizing stability during the print process. Printed here on the Bambu A1 using PLA+/Pro filament, the sturdy result provides an outstanding base for professional-level painting.

Creative Finishing Suggestions

For finishing ideas, achieve a Traditional Ceramic Look by applying a white base coat and then using highly saturated, glossy acrylic colors (teal, magenta, yellow) on the scrollwork and flowers. Create a Matte Altar Piece by using muted pastel colors with a chalky matte finish. Alternatively, apply a Gemstone Effect to the roses and eyes using translucent paints over metallic silver for high visual impact.

Printing Protocol: Recommended Settings

For structural stability and adherence to the design specifications, this complex model must be printed flat on the build plate (face up).
