Hello everyone!
In ancient Egypt, walls weren't just for holding up roofs; they were for telling stories. Today I bring you the most artistically charged piece from the collection: the Relief Pylons.
This set includes two massive vertical sections, sculpted on all four sides with scenes of pharaohs making offerings to the gods. Erosion has broken the edges, but the stories carved into the stone remain intact.
Why are these "Stelae" a great design tool?
- 🎭 The Backdrop (Background): These are tall, flat pieces. They are perfect for placing at the back of the aquarium.
- Function: They wonderfully conceal the heater, filter inlet tube, or cables, replacing black plastic with Egyptian art.
- 🦐 The Shrimp Buffet: Notice the depth of the engravings. With so much concentrated relief, the surface area for biofilm to grow is immense. Shrimp will spend hours "cleaning" the figures, tracing every carved line.
- 🚪 The Modular Gate: Being two separate pieces, you decide the width of the entrance.
- Together: They create a solid wall.
- Separated: They create a monumental gate or a triumphal arch through which your fish can swim.
- 🎨 The Painter's Dream: If you like to paint your decorations, this is your piece. A simple dark "Ink Wash" over a light base will make every hieroglyph and every muscle of the figures effortlessly stand out.
Technical Details:
- 📂 Format: High-definition STL (necessary for crisp figures).
- 🧱 Stability: Wide trapezoidal base. They stand on their own without needing to be buried, although they integrate better if sunken slightly.
- 📏 Verticality: They add height to the setup without taking up much floor space (footprint).
