Description

💡 What’s customizable?

All key dimensions are exposed as parameters in the Customizer:

  • Big side (bottom)
    • Outer diameter
    • Inner diameter
    • Length
  • Small side (top)
    • Outer diameter
    • Inner diameter
    • Length
  • Transition section
    • Tapered transition length between the two diameters

This lets you:

  • Match inner or outer hose diameters (push-in vs. slip-over fit)
  • Create reducers (e.g. 38 mm → 32 mm) or near-straight couplers
  • Adjust wall thickness and lengths for your own use case

Just open the MakerWorld Customizer, type in your diameters, and export an STL.

📦 Premade profiles

If you don’t want to tweak parameters, there are premade STL profiles included (e.g. common vacuum and hose sizes like 32 ↔ 35, 32 ↔ 36, 32 ↔ 38, 35 ↔ 38, in inner/outer combinations).

Simply pick the STL that matches your hose diameters and print.

🖨 Print recommendations

  • Orientation:
    Print standing upright on the big side (as shown in the render). This gives the best circularity and strength along the hose direction.
  • Layer height: 0.24 mm
  • Walls / perimeters: 3 perimeters recommended for a strong, leak-resistant part.
  • Material:
    • PLA for general indoor use
    • PETG / ABS / ASA for tougher, warmer or outdoor environments

If you’d like a specific print profile (material, nozzle size, layer height, etc.), just tell me what you’re using and I’ll upload a matching profile.

✅ Notes

  • Make sure your inner diameter is slightly larger than the actual hose OD for a slip fit, or slightly smaller if you want a tight press fit and your material is a bit flexible.
  • The model includes a smooth internal taper and straight bores on each side for better flow and easier cleaning.
