The entire Starlight 4N model only has one part that requires support, it has been designed and can be printed directly. Some parts of the model need to be bored with a 3.05 or 3.1 mm diameter twist drill, and several parts need to be glued together. Multi-color printing is not required, you can print it in separate plates. The colors shown are the ones I printed, and you can also try different color combinations for a more stunning appearance
All materials are organized and placed in my Bilibili store. Explanation: Since DIY open-source projects don't generate much income, I used to charge a small fee for materials to subsidize household expenses (PS: it was actually just three yuan before). I am overwhelmed by the love everyone has shown for the Starlight 4N this time. I plan to provide all materials completely free from its release on November 29, 2025, until January 1, 2026. If I can gain 50,000 followers, it will remain free forever. People should always have dreams, what if they come true!

Future materials will be uniformly organized in my Bilibili homepage store for easy access. I have organized tables and relevant files, making everything clear at a glance, here are a few screenshots
Additionally, understanding the wishes of many friends, I have launched a pre-sale for a material kit in my Bilibili store (Bilibili username: Wandering Star-dy, you can see the store on the mobile homepage). Version update log:
November 29, 2025, uploaded V6.1 version of the model (PS: 5 previous versions have already been open-sourced, Starlight 2 - Starlight 4 - Starlight 4P - 4S - 4M, so the version number starts with 6)
- December 2, 2025, updated V6.2 model (version has been canceled, no further details on updates to save everyone's effort)
December 7, 2025, updated V6.3 model, compatible with the fan mounting position of V6.2. The change is the addition of a bracket compatible with a 4010 turbo fan. The original Type B fan mounting position is unaffected, and a notch for the 4010 turbo fan cable is reserved, with no other changes; The stock of aluminum backplate cooling fans acquired previously is running out, and currently, it seems difficult to acquire more of this type of product (PS: friends with channels who can help would be appreciated), so a 4010 turbo fan is used instead. This change basically did not alter the original model (except for reserving a notch for the fan cable). A deflector bracket fixed to the original fan mounting position has been added (see figure below; if you have a Type B aluminum backplate cooling fan, you do not need to print this bracket)
[The reason for the update is that too many friends are replicating, and material consumption far exceeds expectations, so an alternative solution is provided to ensure everyone has materials for replication; If using a 4010 turbo fan, please select P2.0-2P forward connection, and a cable length of 5cm is sufficient (this type is very common; I custom-ordered a batch of high-speed ones, which can be distributed if needed). Please note that when replicating, use the V6.3 circuit board. The circuit board file was updated a few days ago. The V6.3 circuit board adds a PH2.0-2P fan connector position, and the V6.3 mainboard is compatible with the functions of previous version circuit boards]

- January 21, 2026, updated V6.4 model, functionally not significantly different from previous versions, the focus is on a solution to maintain the cost. The motors from previous versions were bought by unscrupulous merchants for mass production, and some flowed to hoarders who sold them at high prices, so V6.45 was updated, replacing them with salvaged motors from Samsung computer optical drives. Many dismantling factories can continuously salvage a large quantity, making it convenient for everyone to replicate and use long-term. Recycling waste while keeping costs low is also a good thing!
- The main change in V6.45 is the replacement of the motor model, increasing the stroke from the original 42mm to 50mm, and the overall frame structure is also a circle larger than before, with little difference in appearance. Structurally, due to the increased size, rigidity decreases, and considering unavoidable factors like shrinkage and deformation in 3D printed frames, the structural fit optimization is significant. The new version will be easier to assemble and debug, mainly with elastic connection optimization and tolerance design applied to the Y-axis. Specific details will be introduced in the subsequent new version assembly tutorial
