Hi awesome model! So I'm trying to find the appropriate bar or plate to put inside as support but I'm having a hard time. Would you mind pointing me to where you got yours or where I could order one from? I'm in the US and tried Homedepot already but all the aluminum bars and rod were too thick. 2mm is hard to find. Thank you!

Hi, thanks :) Unfortunatelly I live in EU so it is quite easy to find construction or hobby store where you can find flat bar that is 2mm thick... Have you tried to find something that will be 1/16'' x 1/4''? It should be close enough, especially if you fill gaps with some epoxy glue.

Yeah, I can find the 2mm thick but not also 8mm wide. They're usually wider. I think I'm going to try with 3 or 4 rods put together and see how it comes out. Thanks for the response!

Came out really well. The offset slicing and channel for the bar made it easy to put together and feels solid. Can't wait to paint.

Short answer: yes Long answer: 1. I printed everything with enabled ironing - there is a lot of flat areas so you will have a lot less work 2. Then everything was glued and sanded 3. After comes basecoat, paint and clearcoat
