Description
This is a mounting plate for the GMKtec NucBox5 mini PC. The mini PC has two M2 screw holes on the bottom, which I use to attach the plate. The plate itself provides two positions for M4 hexagon nuts, allowing it to be mounted with the mini PC onto either a Vixen dovetail rail or a Losmandy plate.
The mounting plate itself has a thickness of 4 mm. Keep this in mind for your M4 bolt length.
Required hardware:
- 2x M4 hexagon nuts
- 2x M4 bolts (the length depends on our dovetail Vixen rail / Losmandy plate)
- 2x M2 bolts (ideal: 5 mm; 4-6 mm work fine)
- 2x M4 washers
I didn't have the proper M4 bolts on hand, so I used nuts as spacers. For my bolts, the washers were necessary because the heads weren't wide enough. M5 or M6 bolts would have been ideal, but M5/M6 nuts are much thicker, which would have resulted in an even thicker plate.
