Retractable mobile holder for your bed-time V2
Print Profile(5)

Description
New V2 version of the phone holder with three part retractable arm that can be placed on hedboard (6cm width) and NEWLY stiffer jaws construction.
V2 brings three retractable arms again, this time with minimum reach of 30 cm and maximum enlarged reach 70 cm. Additionaly with screw lock feature.
Newly V2 introduces even folding feature of the arm to the hedboard.
And more over V2 provides 360° of the phone around vertical axis.
I believe the pictures describes it clearly….
I hope you will enjoy the print.
Few people described difficulties during the print of closed mechanism. This version is opened and VERY EASY to print. At the other side, you will need to use glue.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
A) Please glue together MobileHolder1 and MobileHolder2. There is a “pin hole” that allows you to put short filament string as the guide.

B) Now, when the glue is set, you can put MobileHolder into it's place in the Arm3 and use again the guiding “pin holes”.

Please, do NOT overload the glue as you may end up with glued MobileHolder into Arm3. You don't want that.

C) As the hread accommodating screw should not be long enough to provide sufficient force - there is a part labeled “LockToArm3” that provides prelonged thread. This part has to be glued to its place - you can use filament pin holes as the guide again.

D) The very next step could be putting screws to their places. Labeled Screw1 into Arm1, Screw2 into Arm2 and Screw3 (guess what Arm) are as they follow from beginning to the end. You have to use thread created in part labeled “Chip”. It should be easy following this drawing for identification of screw lenghts:

E) The NECESSARY screw of this design is “JawsToArmScrew” and this not only secures the Arms in their angle, but MOST of all provides safe lock tightening the arms to Jaws base spreading the force. Only than the force is not laying on threaded pin but mostly on Jaws plateau.
I realy trust that reported failures are caused that user do not place this screw as they consider it surplus. But it is not. PLEASE USE and TIGHTEN this top screw otherwise you will brake pin from "Jaws".

I hope you will enjoy this design and gadged.
