Low-profile LED 6" Recessed Ceiling Light Can

In replacing my existing lighting which required a ballast and a large metal can, I instead went with inexpensive, low-profile LED lights that required simple direct wiring but the wires were too short to reach the old ballast wiring so I made these cans to replace the metal ones.

The original design had an open top but I found the loose ceiling insulation would just fall all over me if I ever needed to replace the light again, so I added more of an enclosure though there are still some large holes for the wiring and retaining springs.
