This is my first time making a mechanical device. I've been refining it intermittently for a while, modeling everything by hand, and all parts are 3D printed. Only super glue is needed to achieve the articulated effect. Some parts, like the prawn's antennae, can be directly assembled using filament.
The filament length is roughly 5 cm. You can experiment with it; the tolerance is very high.
