Snapmaker U1 Lid

This is an alternative lid for the Snapmaker U1. The lid consists of 8 corners. However, I only uploaded 4 corners because the counterpart of the opposite side simply needs to be mirrored.

The top panes can be slid open and closed as needed. There is an internal cable channel for optional lighting. 

Additionally, I have added a holder for a Reolink camera.

I used 4mm plexiglass panes from the hardware store. Since I don't have a laser, the panes were cut with a jigsaw.

Apart from 2 sides of the top panes (use smooth edge), all panes are inserted into a 10mm deep groove.

Depending on how much one wobbles when sawing, appropriate tolerances should be provided.
