Description
This is a 160 seed pixel star. I'm using it on the top of my 8 foot megatree with 1500 lights. Adding this gets us to 1660 total lights on the tree.

Was looking for a seed pixel star for my ¾" EMT megatree. I couldn't find something that was easy to print and could be easily modified to fit the pipe. So after a few nights of failed designs, came up with this.
To make it print the hub and five of the outer pieces. Put a drop or two of super glue when pushing the parts together. It doesn't really matter, but make sure each part is oriented the same way. It wires from the back in a counter clock wise direction. It can be attached securely to the EMT with a 2" long ¼" bolt. It's meant for 5cm seed pixels. Some of the outer pixels are a little tricky to twist around and get in place, I found twisting the seed so the leading end of the wire faced the next pixel was the way to go. Cheers!
I've got the digQuad running WLED. Using the first 3 data outputs for 500 pixels each, reserving the 4th data output for the star. If you configure the 2D matrix for the first 3 data outputs, then you'll need to set a second segment using start X / Stop X to a difference of 160 to create the single strand.
