Christmas Themed Chess Set

Everyone loves a game at Christmas and what better than a simple game of chess. 

Designed with a festive theme, all the characters of the pieces are a different festive icon! 

PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL REMOVING THE SUPPORTS ON THE REINDEER PIECE AROUND THE ANTLERS

The board is printed in 4 sections with 2 plates of feet sections featuring a festive bauble on each corner. You will need to print 2 of the final plate of the pieces, each in the colour provided. 

For the top layer I have gone with the “octagram spiral” which just gives that festive pattern. 

For my colours, I have chosen black, silver and gold, but you can customize them to your need. Each square is elevated by .02mm i think which will allow you to paint them what eve colour you would like using the fill tool and edge detection. 

BOARD ASSEMBLY 

(Glue can be used if you wish but not needed) 

STEP 1:

Remove all the supports and align each section. I found it easier to place the board top down on a hard surface as you will need to apply a bit of pressure in order to make them snap together. (they are designed to be tight to ensure no movement when the 4 sections are placed together.)  

PLEASE MAKE SURE COLOURS LINE UP TO GIVE YOU THE CORRECT CHEQUERED EFFECT

Step 2:

Each corner section should line up to click in each hole. Again a small bit of force will be needed to click them into place

Step 3: 

Align the center foot in place and apply a bit of pressure to click the foot into the holes provided. This will give you strength in the center of the board. 

Thats it! You are ready to play (just remember to flip the board over)
