Description

.270 Winchester 5-Round Cartridge Clip

Looking for a specific caliber? Check out all the available clips here: https://makerworld.com/collections/14544472

I designed this cartridge clip for hunting — practical, refined, and made to last. Each round slides in with a crisp, satisfying sound and sits firmly in place without any rattle. It’s compact, easy to handle, and feels premium right from the first use.

To release a round, there’s an opening behind each slot so you can simply push it through from the back. The bottom includes a carefully placed cutout that keeps the primer clear, ensuring both safety and perfect fitment.

The caliber is printed on the bottom, and you can easily change the color to match your own setup or favorite theme.

Print it, make it yours — and if you try other colors or calibers, post a photo in the comments. I’d really enjoy seeing your take on it!

Printed in PLA and the retaining clips snapped right off when I push in at cartridge - What did I do wrong??

You printed it laying flat. The wings will snap at the layerlines. You need to print it standing up using supports. Then the wings will hold.

I do not understand, but fairly new to printing. A1 with AMS Lite. Tried to include a screen shot of the 3 errors I am getting from download - about the solid infill, sparse infill, and wall filament, and correcting them in the parameters - not sure why they are in error and where to fix. Also, not sure why there is a filament tower being printed - the 2 color is done in the first few layers, so it should be gone and not need a tower after the first few layers? (Actually after I slice without adjusting parameters the tower goes way down like I would expect!) Confused and trying to learn - thanks for any help! (And got a similar error on another caliber I wanted to print of yours.)

Did you change to your own printer type? There's no issue with the profile itself. Make sure you've switched to your own printer type and then check the "advanced" button and make sure you have these settings under "strength". Good luck.

why PLA but not PETG ?, PETG has more flexibility than PLA , more heat tolarance , just wondering, is there a reason?

PLA works fine, and has a more pleasant look. Most people print with PLA. PETG is fine too. So if you like that more just go for it. 👍🏻

I had to file the model a bit with sandpaper, the cartridges were too difficult to insert, and removal was too strenuous. I filed it a little and now everything works great

tolerances are tight, flow calibrated filament is needed to not have to file.
