Description

Convert the 7 optical drive bay covers into fan holders that match the external aesthetics of the case for the Lian-Li PC-V2000 Server Case (very old model, I'm a big fan of it).

Some of the drive bays have a couple of notches sticking out on my case and i had to cut a small notch in my models after the print. Be aware of this if you print it.

I split this into 2 parts, one bottom one goes on top as it is too tall to print on my Ender 3.
I printed this in 34 hrs with a 0.4mm nozzle with 0.2mm layer height.

The main body of the parts are 2mm thick and the part where the fan is attached is 3mm. reason is,

  • 1 to remove flexibility in the wings where the nipples need to go into the notches in the case
  • 2 so that screws have more room for threads (or use M3 bolts and nuts like i did, depends on your fans)

This design fits a standard 120mm fan per section.

***I designed and published this originally in January 2023 on Printables.com***
