Description

Boost Me (for free)

Thanks for downloading! If you enjoy this model and it terrifies your players at the table, please consider giving it a Boost 🚀! It helps me create more creatures for your campaigns. Don't forget to share your painted makes—I'd love to see how you handle the rune effects!

Legends speak of a dragon not born of egg, but forged from the living rock of the Deep Core. Vorag, the Earth-Render, has slept for a millennia beneath the mountain roots. The cracks in his armored hide do not bleed blood, but glow with the heat of the dormant volcano he calls home. The runes on his base are not decoration—they are the only binding seals keeping his true, catastrophic power in check. Now, the seals are breaking, and Vorag has awakened to reclaim his domain.

Bring a legendary threat to your next TTRPG session with this highly detailed Ancient Runic Dragon. Featuring deep, cracked scales, massive distinct wings, and a custom scenic base inscribed with binding runes, this model is a perfect boss encounter for D&D, Pathfinder, or other tabletop wargames.

Print Instructions: To capture the fine cracks in the scales and the texture of the wings, high resolution is key.

  • Layer Height: I strongly recommend printing at 0.08mm or 0.12mm for the best detail retention on FDM printers.
  • Infill: 15% Gyroid is sufficient.
  • Supports:
    • Use Tree (Organic) Supports. They are much easier to remove from the delicate spikes.
    • Placement: Ensure you have support density under the chin/jaw, the belly, the overhang of the tail, and specifically the lowest points of the wings.
    • Tip: Be very gentle removing supports around the horns and the tips of the wings to avoid snapping.
