💡 Audi 80 B4 Lens Headlight Cap – faithfully remodeled & optimized for LED heatsinks! 🚘✨
Since there is no longer a suitable cover cap for the DE lens headlights for the Audi 80 B4 / RS2, I created a solution myself.
I 3D scanned the original cap, digitally remodeled it, and then adapted it so that the heatsink of modern LED lamps fits in without problems – without tension, without grinding, sealing perfectly tight.
👉 Additionally, I designed a matching TPU seal that precisely engages in the groove and reliably seals the unit – thus the headlight remains protected, even in humidity or dust.
🖨️ Technical Details:
🔹 Main part printed in ABS – heat-resistant & robust
🔹 Print time cap: approx. 7 hours
🔹 Print time TPU seal: approx. 45 minutes
🔹 Exact reproduction of the original geometry (3D scan)
🔹 Interior expanded to securely accommodate LED heatsinks
🔹 Seal made of flexible TPU – perfect fit & seal
🔹 High temperature resistance for use in the engine compartment
