Stiletto (STO-6X) for Battletech

I felt like making something a little less conventional.

The Stiletto was a design made based off of salvaged fire falcons and started production during 3061. Standing at 35 tons this mech is very fast and lightly armored.

During 3078, an experimental variant was created by the Lyran Commonwealth, boasting dual battlemech turrets mounted on both side torsos, and a Guardian ECM Suite. This variant was dubbed “STO-6X” and can be found in XTRO:Steiner.

Print Recommendations:

This model prints in 6 parts (including the hex base) and will require glue to assemble. An extra left arm is also provided for customization. 

The model was designed to be printed with a 0.2 mm nozzle but Might be printable with 0.4 mm as well. 

PLEASE NOTE: smaller miniatures like mechs around 20-30 TONS can push FDM printers close to their limits of quality and viability. This specific model did not have too much of an issue, but is a harder print than a bigger mech (such as an atlas) using a similar print preset as this one.

lastly for improved quality of the turrets, I think positioning them at a 45 degree angle with the lasers pointing up would help (I have not verified this 45 degree thing though), this can be done to increase the length of the needed supports to make them easier to break off.

Assembly

1: Glue both arms onto the torso with there desired position.

2: Glue the turrets onto the posts located over the shoulders.
