Translucent Light Blue (32600) / Filament with spool / 1 kg

Description

Bring some oversized holiday magic to your yard, porch, or walkway with these giant solar-powered Christmas light ornaments!
Designed to work perfectly with the ZNYCYE / generic  solar puck replacements (linked in the description), these bulbs snap right onto the solar top for a clean, secure fit— glue or silicone caulk required.

The bulb prints beautifully in vase mode using translucent PETG for that glossy, glowing “mega Christmas light” look. The top cap prints in black PLA or PETG and includes an integrated hanging loop so you can display them on hooks, trees, or along rooflines.

Features

  • Designed for  solar light puck modules
  • Large, eye-catching ornament shape—looks incredible when lit up at night
  • Prints in vase mode for perfect single-wall translucency
  • Simple two-piece design:
    • Bulb: vase-mode translucent PETG
    • Cap: standard PLA or PETG with built-in handle
  • Weather-friendly design for outdoor use

Recommended Print Settings

Bulb (Translucent PETG):

  • Vase mode / Spiral contour
  • 0.8 mm nozzle recommended
  • 0.32 mm layer height
  • Slow outer walls for best clarity
  • 1.01 flowrate
  • 0% infill

Cap (PLA or PETG):

Sizing

The bulb is oversized for maximum visual impact—far larger than a traditional C9. Perfect for yard displays, porch lighting, or hanging in clusters for holiday décor.

The hole for the light is 72 mm, Amazon has several different versions usually sold as 2.76'' bottom size.

Notes
After printing a lot of these, I’ve found that a 0.8 mm nozzle with 0.32 mm layer height gives the best results. Using 0.40 mm layers left small gaps near the very top, while a 0.4 mm nozzle produced walls that were too thin and resulted in the same top gaps. The 0.8 / 0.32 combo has consistently printed perfectly.

  • Thanks for looking!

it's only showing the tops, not the bulb vase bottoms. can the Base be printed on the X1C or the PS1?

The bulb and the base are two separate profiles, and the bulb might be too tall for your printer but you can scale it down to fit. I’ll make a new profile right now that fits in the smaller printers.

I added a 250 mm bulb profile so that should work for you..

Why is the bulb not there for the files anymore?

I haven't removed anything? It still shows up under the four profiles.

Sorry, it wasn't available under the A1 printer, so I thought you had pulled the file. :)

It says the solar lights are linked in the description but I don’t see any such link?
